CTPC have negotiated discounted travel for our members on public transport in Colchester. The basic discount rates offered are outlined below, but some employers have subsidised these further to give their employees an even better deal. Park & Ride
The Colchester Park & Ride is located off junction 28 of the A12 and offers a frequent, comfortable and quick service into Colchester City Centre.
Key stops include Colchester Hospital, Colchester North Station and Middleborough (for The Octagon).
Tickets cost £3 for a daily or £12 for a weekly pass.

Walking
Follow the Fixing the Link walking route to the town centre – look out for the yellow way finding banners and the plaques in the pavement offering interesting historical insights along the route.

Cycling
There’s extensive cycle parking at Colchester North station. Colchester Borough Council are opening a secure cycle park in the city centre in 2022.
