The Results! Colchester Walking Challenge
Well done to everyone who took part in the Walking Challenge!
Eleven local organisations took part with 135 people walking. Collectively we racked up a stonking 452,818 activity points!
Individual winners
Everyone walking at least the recommended 150 minutes for both weeks (at least 750 activity points) was entered into a free prize draw. The winners were:
1st - Danielle Woraker from Colchester Borough Council who wins a £25 Fenwick Voucher
2nd - Lisa Cherry from the University of Essex who wins a pair of tickets for the Laughter Zone at the Colchester Arts Centre
3rd - Robert Diamond from Ingleton Wood who wins a pair of cinema tickets.
Active Travellers
54 people walked for Active Travel and collectively would have saved 383kg of CO2 had they done the same journey by car.
The top 20 Active Travellers were entered into a free prize draw and we are pleased to announce that the lucky winner is Natasha Sayers from Colchester Institute who wins afternoon tea for 2 at Wivenhoe House!
Top Walker
We thought it would also be good to reward the top walker too. So Katy Scott from CHUFT wins a pair of tickets for the Laughter Zone at Colchester Arts Centre having racked up a whopping 21,178 activity points over the two weeks.
Thanks again to the Arts Centre, University of Essex, Fenwick and the Odeon for donating the prizes.
Finally a shout out for our top workplaces and departments.
