ECC accredit Essex based Business Travel Plans to Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

To qualify for a Travel Plan award, you need to:

  • Undertake a staff travel survey and obtain a 10% plus return rate.
  • Have 10 plus travel plan measures in place,  for example cycle parking, public transport information, travel notice boards, car sharing promotions, promoting walking and cycling as healthy ways to travel, cycle to work scheme etc
  • Have proof that staff have changed their travel habits as a result of your promotions, ie evidence of number of staff cycling to work or taking up a cycle to work scheme, participation in promotions etc

In recognition of your achievement, ECC awards a plaque, Business Travel Plan logo for use on letterheads/websites etc and a grant (that needs to be match funded) towards further new Travel Plan measures.
