Post 11pm bus services
The bus services below offer a last bus just after 11pm, Monday to Saturday.

Types of ticket
There are a variety of ticket options in addition to a standard single or return.
If you are travelling with children, First and Arriva offer a discounted Family ticket. A daily Rover Ticket is good value and offers unlimited travel on First and Arriva buses. There are currently Evening saver rover tickets (post 7pm) and Sunday saver rover tickets.
Colchester Park and Ride

Colchester Park and Ride offers a quick and comfortable route into the town centre from the Park and Ride site s just off the A12's Junction 28. A daily ticket allows unlimited travel on Park and Ride buses along the route. The Park and Ride stops at the hospital, train station and Middleborough, as well as the town centre.
Buses leave at least every 15 minutes from Monday to Saturday from 7am, with bus priority measures along the route and journey times of as little as 8 minutes to Colchester Station and 12 minutes to the Town Centre. The last bus leaves the town centre shortly before 7pm in the evenings.

Walking
Follow the Fixing the Link walking route to the town centre - look out for the yellow way finding banners and the plaques in the pavement offering interesting historical insights along the route.
Cycling
Colchester station has extensive cycle parking on both sides of the station.
There is Bike and Go cycle hire for £3.80 a day
