Cycle Sleuth at Uni this week

There is plenty going on at the Uni this week to encourage Uni staff and students to get on their bike. A  Cycle Sleuth will be roaming the Uni on Tuesday 9 June, looking for cyclists to give prizes too as a reward for cycling that day!

Over the week the following events are planned to encourage you to think about cycling to campus.  Please visit the transport pages to see the facilities and information for cyclists such as the shower/changing room location, lockers, cycle tagging scheme and Cyclescheme for staff.

Monday 18 June 2012

Under Podia Sq1 Cycle Park between 5-6pm

For just £2 have your bicycle chipped and added to the police national database in case its lost or stolen so it can be easily returned to you by our PCSO Alex Wilmot or the Patrol Officers.

A Cycle Sleuth will be about on campus and will randomly choose 5 bicycles parked in the official cycle parks.  The owners of the bike will win a small prize!

Come to Square 5 between 12-2pm where Re-Cycle selling will be selling a range of affordable bicycles from £30 upwards

Cycle Tech will be on campus offering FREE advice and safety checks for bicycles.  Come and visit him on Square 5 between 9am and 3pm.
